Getting Ready To Make Cards -

I have been making cards for almost 23 years, in fact...right about now I was creating my very first project, my daughter Terra's birth announcements - made out of a Disney stamp, cardstock, and a few colored pencils to color them in!  I had been put flat down in bed the early part of November, and knew I was having a girl!  That is why her nickname is "Pooh Bear", because of this Disney stamp!!!  I absolutely knew NOTHING about making cards - but wanted to create something "unique"!  Through this one project, not only did I find I loved to create crafts in general,  after moving back home to Utah from Colorado, I discovered the art of scrapbooking, and the rest you might say - is history!  I found a talent to create, and a love to share with people - to show how easy it is to create your own style of cards, pages and gifts!  I am going back to the basics...to help you in not only organizing your stuff, but in helping you get more done with what you d...

Creative PaperClay Design Team Announcement

The past 6 months have been a wonderful experience for me, being on the Creative PaperClay Design Team!  I learned more from these women on the team, than they will ever know!  I looked forward to each of their projects they made each month, and their tips - I can't think of one that didn't help me!  So now this term comes to an end, and a new term with a new design team begins.   I am so pleased to announce I was only 2 of the current members who were asked to come back - and to say I am humbled is a complete understatement!  I love to create, and this clay has helped me to make some of my most "favorite" projects by far!  My paper bag albums - customized to me, with MY name on it (and one for my sister)!  Magnets for me to hang on my fridge, and the embellishments for the middle of some of my flowers... customized in the colors I was working on!   So - join me the next 6 months, while I bring you a lot of fun projects, made out of recy...

Memories in Tyme - Changes

For those of you who have followed me for a while, you know me enough to know as much as I love creating, there comes a time when I have got to take a break and figure out me and Memories in Tyme!  The past few months/summer is actually that time for me - where I am reflecting on my business and personal life to see where it all will take me!  Creating has been a part of my life for over 22 years now, and honestly, I am glad it has been for multiple reasons!  This one "thing" kept me alive during one of the most horrible times in my life, and from it - I found more of a talent for creating in general, instead of it just being a "hobby"!   So, during the past year, my husband has been in school to further his education!  We moved from Colorado to Sacramento to Sparks Nevada all within a year's time...  I am T.I.R.E.D if you know what I mean, and can't wait to get this last part of our rebuilding done!  But with a bit of hard work in the next yea...

Lynda's October Tips -

I can't believe it has been 6 months for being on the design team!  The current team has helped me so much, in more ways you can imagine!  The new team coming up - excited to see what they come up with for sure!   I love working with the Creative PaperClay product for so many different reasons!  If you rubber stamp, you already have a ton of things you can make with those stamps including ornaments and one of a kind embellishments!  If you happen to scrapbook - and have those plastic templates for shapes and alphabets, those will come in handy here!   Tip #1: Think outside of the box when you are looking at creating with the clay!  What do you have that you can use - so that you can buy more CLAY!   Tip #2:  Water should become your very best friend when you are using this stuff!  A little bit of water on your fingertip will help to smooth out surfaces, especially if the clay is a bit more "dry".  Tip #3:...
