This is going to be another one of those weekly posts for the next 3-4 weeks or so - in order to create your own planner! It will be up to you to decide how YOU are going to do it - what supplies you are going to use and so on - but at the end of it all, you will have your own style of planner for what YOU need, and I will even give you some pages through the next few weeks for you to use as you want to! Lets get started!!!
I have been doing my own planner pages for the past few years, more because of the cost reasons than anything, now because I love doing them!!! I had gotten an email sent from someone who got an email from someone else - it included a yearly calendar, plus a basic things to do page, a list of telephones and addresses page, as well as a design sheet for creative purposes! I started with these, and the rest is history! I used a few file folders that were a bit more used up, cut in half for each of the divider's and sections, adding paper and embellishments to the front! That way, I can add things in the middle that I don't want to loose, and it can be easily changed if I get tired of the papers (like now)!!!
For this week - start with this:

For this week - start with this:
- Decide what kind of a binder you are going to use - do you have an old planner you want to use, or do you need to figure out another option?
- Start to gather the supplies you want to use for this project - papers especially!!! Let this be the start of everything for the entire project!!
- Decide how you want your dividers - file folders cut in half or a sheet of chipboard. Also decide the various categories you want for your planner.
- Get a sheet of paper out to start to look at what it is you are wanting your project to look like at the end of it all. By sketching things out - you can have a list of each of the details you want to have for your planner! Also start to look at places like Pinterest for ideas you want to create as well!
For my project - I am using:
- Stampin' Up papers in the 2016-2018 colors
- Stamp pads and markers that match the papers I am using
- Recycling the dividers from last year - old file folders cut in half
- Stamps and punches to create my own embellishments, as well as decorated paper clips
- A lot of pockets to put various things in, gift cards, rewards cards, receipts, business cards, etc!!!
