4 Months Until Christmas

Well, you've got 4 months from today until Christmas is here!!!  That isn't a lot of time...especially if you are a procrastinator like I am!  Today's challenge is to simply to take a look at this date in this way: Are you going to purchase Christmas cards, make them, or a bit of both? Start to make a list of who you want to send a card to, and get an idea how many of those on your list will get a handmade card.  Look at sketches, and what you have at home to create with - as well as your favorite inspirational places to get the creative juices flowing! Do you typically plan Christmas parties or events for your friends and family?  If so, take a look at your calendar and plan a date if you haven't already!  Get a list of what you might need to do, bake, purchase - or what have you for the event.    Do you bake, or give neighbor gifts at all?  Look at what you have for baking, and what you will need to get, and start to put it on a list to ...

Weekend Challenge's

I have decided I am a huge procrastinator...just like my mom!  I love her completely to pieces, but I hate that I have gotten that trait from her!  So, to change that, each weekend you will get a few challenges to get things done...which will help me get my own stuff done in the process!  You will have plenty of different challenges to choose from, from basic to specific!  I hope you come back each weekend and get a bit of inspiration to help get your own stuff done!   Research something different - if you traditionally do 12 x 12 scrapbook albums, and have never done cards, then start to research what you would need to start to cards! Just learn to create something different than you are used to doing - and step outside of the box! Find a project you have been meaning to do - or something you have all the supplies for, and get it done.   Start a design sheet on a project you have been meaning to get done.  If you finish it up, take a look at suppl...

Inspiration When You Have NONE!

Life has thrown me a few curve balls lately - of which I apologize for not posting like I wanted to the past few weeks!  Hopefully that will change this month into next!!!  If you are like me - creating just helps the brain - and the stress level!  Yet there are times that creating is just stressful in itself!  Plus, I tend to procrastinate - thus the post from yesterday to remind everyone to look at their calendars for things you need to do!    So, how do you "create" when you just have no inspiration to do it?  Or, like me, life has just thrown you curve balls lately that don't allow you to be able to "create"?  Well, today, we are going to talk about just that, with a few things I am going to try to do so that I can get more done!  Hopefully it will help some of you too!   Start reading some of the blogs you subscribe to...  Find your favorite one, and look at the past things they have done!   Look back at some of your...

Monthly Reminder

Hello everyone, it's that time of the month again, so grab your calendar, your pen, your notebooks - and lets get started planning things out!  If you are a mom of kid - I am sure you are getting ready for school, and all that "that" implies!  Make sure you look at things until the end of September for any type of things you might have going on!  Christmas is also coming up (or whatever December holiday you have), which means gifts!  Look at things you can make there instead! For me - I am looking at the next few months to see what I have going on - birthday's in September I can start to make cards and things for...  Christmas coming up at the end of the year I can get stuff rolling for...   I hope you have fun in getting your stuff done!  I know for me - I try to get things done earlier, but I end up failing more times than not!  My goal between now and the end of the year is to get things done before they need to go in the mail instead of a...
