Challenge for the Weekend

Well this month has been shot to hel*, let me tell you!!  Creative wise I have not accomplished much of anything, except an album I have been working on "Our Family" where I created the album cover out of chipboard and paper, with Creative Paperclay embellishments!  The album is turning out wonderful, I can't wait to show it to you via video!!!  Some of the little details have to be seen up close, the pictures just don't do it justice!!!
So - question for you all - what happens when you just have NO creativity AT ALL?  How do you "get it back"?  Here are a few tips for you to maybe get a bit of that ole' creative spark back:
  • Clean your space by organizing (if you need to), or just cleaning your area in which you always create.
  • Look at some of the things you have started - AND NOT FINISHED...  What is wrong with the creation to make you not want to get it done?
  • Find a friend or family member who wants to create WITH YOU...  Sometimes creating with someone ends up giving you the inspiration you need!
  • Look on Pinterest, blogs or web sites for something "different" you can do.  If you always do 12 x 12 projects, switch it up to mini albums!
Now - an extra challenge this weekend is to grab the following supplies, and create "something":
  1. Cardstock
  2. Patterned paper
  3. Ribbon, floss or twine
  4. Brads, eyelets or buttons
  5. Alphabet of some sort for a title
  6. Die cuts, stickers or stamps (any style)
  7. Your choice
Have a great day today, we will see you next time!
