One of my favorite style of scrapbook albums right now is the vertical paper bag album!!!  The original idea is not my own...I went to a blog hop, and that was it for me, I've created almost nothing else since!!  I love how they turn out, how you have multiple areas to put pictures, and all the different ways you can journal in the albums as well!  Instead of taking pictures this time...I decided to  do a video.  It's not the best, but you can at least see the details a bit easier than explaining!   The cover was shared on my Creative Paperclay design team blog, link here !  I love using my scrapbook templates to create one of a kind titles and embellishments for my albums!  This one - was no different!   Supplies I used for this album: Creative Paperclay Molds - flower and leaf Alphabet template Xacto knife  White acrylic paint Pink and blue Radiant Pearls paint Sizzix die cuts - leaf stem, flower, tags, heart,  ...

Well this month has been shot to hel*, let me tell you!!  Creative wise I have not accomplished much of anything, except an album I have been working on "Our Family" where I created the album cover out of chipboard and paper, with Creative Paperclay embellishments!  The album is turning out wonderful, I can't wait to show it to you via video!!!  Some of the little details have to be seen up close, the pictures just don't do it justice!!!   So - question for you all - what happens when you just have NO creativity AT ALL?  How do you "get it back"?  Here are a few tips for you to maybe get a bit of that ole' creative spark back:   Clean your space by organizing (if you need to), or just cleaning your area in which you always create.   Look at some of the things you have started - AND NOT FINISHED...  What is wrong with the creation to make you not want to get it done?   Find a friend or family member who wants to create WITH YOU....

So, what are your plans for the weekend?  Do you have BBQ's you are going to,  family events...what about concerts, or time spent with friends or family just doing whatever?  Or - have you been on a recent vacation, so the time spent is more getting caught up in everything you have neglected!!!   Your challenge this weekend is to either: Take photos at an event you are going to - keep track of the fun things people say and do for journaling purposes later on!   Finish up a project you have been working on.  Stop the procrastination and get it done!   We are going to a BBQ this weekend, so I will be making sure lots of pictures are taken, and lots of journaling done!  And, I am working on a "Our Family" vertical paper bag album...one that is turning out perfectly!  I can't wait to get it finished to share with you - the cover is on my Creative Paperclay design team blog - just scroll down and you will see the link!  Ha...

It's that time again, where we spend some time looking at your events for the next few weeks - grab your calendar, notebook, and writing utensil and lets get started!  You need to look at things until the end of August - and further if you would like!  Do you have any type of weddings, showers for brides or babies, birthday's coming up, or any other type of event you need to purchase, make, or decide on???   My life has taken such a turn this past year - I love the changes, and embrace each of them!  Some people that were in my life last year, not this year... and others are in my life where I didn't think I would.  I am so far behind in things I need to get done, my goal is simply to get caught up in my previous projects!   So, your challenge...pick what you need to do, and we will see you in a month!  Look at your calendar for any events you need to make cards or gifts for.
