The past month has just flown by for me... My husband is now out of school, and at a new job in a new city! Funny how we have lived 4 states in the past 6 years, and have totally loved it - I really wouldn't change anything except turn back the hands of time if I could! We have seen more than we thought we would, struggled harder than we should have, and fought just to stay alive! But at the end of it all, we have done it all honestly, without anyone giving us anything (except hassle) to get here.
There are two projects I am starting to plan and work on - a bit more "special" than just throwing together an album. These two projects will take some time - and planning - in order to get the perfect album made! If you are just starting out with creating, by taking the time to plan the little details out - it makes the project go that much smoother because you have taken the time to think about things first.
Project #1: I didn't document the past year of Del being in school. The story behind the move, the reason behind him wanting to suddenly go to a school in which would help him to succeed. I truly wish I would have done now because of how far we are right now. I enjoyed spending time with my kids, and seeing the various places that we did - while watching Del in school.
So, the next 6 months are very important to the rebuild process we are in - and document it I must! This album will be one that can document just how far we were...even though we didn't take a lot of pictures! It will be done through Project Life - and will be a physical album to be able to add photos and things as we go! Out of any of my albums, I am excited to finish this one up! You don't need to document a whole 6 months - but if you are struggling with something - or you just want to see the work you have done to get where you are at, then documenting 6 months is really not a negative thing!
Project #2: A to Z About ME is all about YOU - YOUR memories - who YOU are in an alphabet format! Join me each week while we go through each letter of the alphabet, and by the end of the year, you should have a completed album with pictures! This might be a great way for you to use up supplies and things you have available but maybe not enough to do a full project if you want to do a paper album! Or, you can do it digitally - and keep it on your computer instead!
Decide which project you want to do - and join me each week as I go through the little things - what you want your finished project to look like, what type of supplies are you going to use, what do you want as for budget, and is there anything you have available now - instead of spending money? By the end of the year (or early part of 2014) - we should have a completed album or two for you to share!
I am excited for the next part of our journey - and can't wait to get moved so I can get more creating done! I have so many projects in my head - I need the space to just get them done! Join me each week while we work on these fun projects!
