If you haven't seen Memories in Tyme lately - you should go and check out the little things we have going on - and all the various updates!!!! It is still a work in progress, but more and more is coming out all the time! We have a section to purchase your own handmade scrapbooks, cards and gift items...a place to start to learn how to create your own - with exclusive classes...and a new section - Lynda Jeffs Designs which is all things digital!
With so many different sections that I decided to resurrect this blog and have exclusive ideas here for all of my awesome followers, and then more business related things on the web site! Pretty soon I will be having a newsletter - which will be on the web site for you to check out!!!! For today's idea, it will be showcased for 4 days total...so make sure you check back for the whole entire project! This week is all about saving money while you are paper crafting - and products and techniques that will do just that - save you money!
I have to save money - and scrapbooking was the first thing to go when my husband was taken out of work 10 years ago! Slowly I have been able to add projects back in to my life - only because I can't afford other things...like planners for your life! A few years back I ended up getting a hold of a used one, and have redone it for my planner the past few years! Perfect for me and my needs, each of the dividers are for sections I need and want...
Your sections might be different for what you need...and what you do more. I needed to add one for both of my businesses, as well as one for creating! As I started out in planning, I wanted/needed it to be as cheap as possible. I have the planner pages all printed out - you can check out the internet for anything you want that you are able to download! If you take the class for this, you get the pages for different sections included in the class fee!

A few years back I ended up getting a hold of a used one, and have redone it for my planner the past few years! Perfect for me and my needs, each of the dividers are for sections I need and want...
- First section is basically my name - to include quotes, sayings, business cards, etc!
- Second section is my business section for both businesses - things I need to do, etc!
- Third section is I "heart" to create - for anything relating to creating...sketches, titles, etc!
- Fourth section is friends and contacts - for everyone who I need to keep in touch with.

Supplies needed for the project:
2 old file folders for the inside - cut in half
Patterned paper/cardstock of your choice
Embellishments
Die cut machines (or alpha stickers)
Supplies I used:
Cricut Machine with Ashlyn's Alphabet and Spring Cottage cartridges
*Studio G paper pack w/7 sheets of paper...used 4 of the sheets
*Studio G Chipboard punchouts
*Studio G Cardstock stickers
*Studio G Brads
Ribbon scraps
Charms & Silver Alpha embellishments (used for 3 years now)
Sizzix die cuts
*All Studio G bought at Walmart
This project cost me under $5 for the items purchased at Walmart, and I still have 3 sheets of paper left over, plus scraps from the other papers. Plus there are a few stickers and chipboard embellishments left over as well that will go perfect for Thank You cards! I will make sure to share those when I get them finished! Personally, I like it when I finish up a project that has been on my "to do list" for a while...and really can't wait to show you the rest of the finished project! Enjoy today's divider - come back tomorrow to see the next one!
